Terms & Conditions to Ali’s Letters

By subscribing to Ali's Letters (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not subscribe.
Ali's Letters is an independent macro-research and economics focused publication.
1. General commentary — no personal advice
The Service is provided for general information and commentary purposes only. It reflects the author's macroeconomic commentary and research and is not directed to the personal circumstances of any individual subscriber.
Nothing in the Service constitutes, or should be relied on as:
investment advice or a personal recommendation;
financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice;
an offer, solicitation, or inducement to buy, sell, hold, or transact in any security, financial instrument, digital asset, or product; or
an assessment that any position, strategy, or instrument is suitable or appropriate for you.
We do not know your objectives, financial situation, or risk tolerance, and we do not tailor content to them. Any trade ideas, frameworks, levels, or positioning discussed are illustrative of the author's own analysis and are not instructions to act. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should obtain advice from an appropriately licensed professional in your jurisdiction before acting.
2. No guarantees of results
We make no guarantee as to performance, profitability, risk reduction, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. Financial markets are inherently uncertain. Past performance — whether stated explicitly or implied — does not guarantee future results. You acknowledge that losses are possible, including the loss of your entire principal.
3. Opinions are point-in-time and may change
Any views, positioning, frameworks, or commentary reflect the author's personal opinion at the time of writing. Those opinions may change at any time without notice, may differ from views previously expressed, and need not be updated or reconciled with earlier commentary. We are under no obligation to notify you of any change in the author's views or positioning.
4. No advisory or fiduciary relationship
Your subscription does not create an advisory relationship, a fiduciary duty, or a client–adviser relationship of any kind. We do not manage your assets, hold client money, execute trades, arrange transactions, or provide services tailored to your individual financial situation.
5. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to subscribe. By subscribing, you confirm that accessing the Service and any content within it is lawful in your country of residence, and that you are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to you.
6. Fees, billing, and auto-renewal
Subscription fees are stated at the point of purchase and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. UAE Value Added Tax (VAT) may be added where applicable.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for successive monthly / annual periods until cancelled.
Billing and payment are processed by our third-party platform provider(s) (see clause 12). Your use of those platforms is also subject to their terms.
You are responsible for keeping your payment details current and for managing your subscription status.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time before your next renewal date. To cancel, log in to your account with Beehive, go to Manage Subscription, and follow the cancellation steps. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Except where a refund is required by applicable law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancelling part-way through a billing period does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund.
Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory cancellation, cooling-off, or refund rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence (for example, UK or EU consumers purchasing digital content), or any rights afforded by the payment platform's own policies. Where such rights apply, they prevail over this clause to the extent of any conflict.
8. Intellectual property
All content provided through the Service — including text, charts, frameworks, models, methodologies, and commentary — is our property or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access the content for your own use only. You may not copy, redistribute, reproduce, publish, resell, or create derivative works from the content, nor share your login credentials, without our prior written consent.
9. Acceptable use and account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Sharing credentials, circumventing paywalls, or scraping the Service is prohibited. We may suspend or terminate access, without refund, for material or repeated breach of these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, trading loss, lost profit or opportunity cost, or any loss arising from decisions made on the basis of the Service, system outages, or content errors. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Data protection and privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://caspiansterling.com/privacypolicy.php, and with applicable data-protection law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to subscribers in those regions, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. By subscribing you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
12. Third-party platforms
The Service is delivered and billed through third-party platforms (including, without limitation, Beehiiv / Stripe). We are not responsible for those platforms' availability, security, or terms, and your use of them is governed by their own agreements.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version and revising the "Last updated" date. Material changes will take effect on the date stated in the update. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
